Oh beautiful Bella! This senior Husky girl is ready to ditch the shelter for a quieter home where she can lounge, stroll around the neighborhood, and soak up all the love from her family! She may take some time to come out of her shell during this transitional time in her life, but once she's feeling comfortable, we anticipate her being a fun addition to her new home! Bella appreciates a hands-off approach and the ability to experience new people and situations at her own pace.
Although her age is beginning to catch up with her, that doesn't stop her from enjoying quiet and easy walks -- Bella has become one of our volunteers' favorite dog to walk! They tell us she listens well, sits politely for treats, is affectionate and will give them gentle kisses, and enjoys a good back rub. While her vision and hearing may be starting to diminish, they tell us that sense of smell works just fine as she finds pleasure in being outside.
Bella is available to homes with no cats or fowl and children aged 10 years and older or no children. Meet with Bella to see if she could be your new best bud! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 70 Age: 12yrs 6mths 1wks

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter and first vaccines, medical exam, and microchip.
How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.
We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.
Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
