Lunchbox is a sweet, six-month-old blue Pitbull Terrier with an incredible spirit. His journey hasn’t been the easiest—he spent most of his life outside in a kennel before coming to us from Georgia—but that hasn’t dampened his warm, gentle personality one bit.

Southern Tails Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit, supported by local community donations in order to ensure the physical and medical well-being of the dogs. We rely solely on the financial support of our donors’ generosity as well as any fundraisers we host, and the time and energy of our volunteers. We focus on rescuing dogs from rural shelters and streets in the surrounding areas of Charleston, South Carolina. We believe every paw has a tale.
