My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

Grey-Grey tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.

A volunteer writes: I've loved Grey Grey since the moment I heard him. For such a big fluffy cheeked kitty, he has the cutest little meows. With his front paws stretched out as long as they could be, Grey Grey welcomed me with the most interesting nuzzles. Leaning his whole side into my hand, it took me a moment to register all this cuteness because Grey Grey kept his paws stretched long as he twirled around in his bed and chirped to me about his day. This is a big step from where he was the first time we met when Grey Grey talked with me from the safety of his den and explained that while he didn't feel much like coming out to say hi, he still kind of hoped I would sit with him for a little bit. Fast forward to our next meeting where we had snuggles galore. We don't know too much about Grey Grey's history prior to coming to us at the Care Center, but we know that even brighter things await.
