My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tala! This fun, active and confident cat loves making new friends, both feline and human alike. She’s hoping she gets to meet you next!

Tala is an athletic kitty who is all about playtime! She will run and jump after her toys, and she really enjoys chasing after wand toys. When she finally catches one, she will proudly carry it around in her mouth. She loves to play Hide and Seek with her people, and she’ll happily dash away after she’s been found! After she’s let out some steam, Tala will curl up with her friends, enjoying some affection. She is especially fond of relaxing with a good brush session!

During the day, Tala can often be found taking a restful catnap in a cat tree or keeping watch on the neighborhood through a window. When she’s not napping, she’s likely ready to play! She gets out her zoomies and runs around the house before mealtime, which she can be quite excited about. She also enjoys getting treats while working on some training and seeing if her cat friends will play with her.

Tala is looking for a patient adopter who will be understanding of her quirks and help her be the best cat she can be! She prefers to get attention and pets in short doses, and she sometimes would rather just hang out next to you without any pets. She also likes to talk, but she may communicate with soft mouthing behavior on hands or arms. She may show this behavior when she is overexcited, feeling very affectionate, wants attention or when she no longer wants pets. Our Adoption Team would be happy to share recommendations and training tips with you for interacting with Tala.

Tala’s ideal home would be with someone who always makes time to play with her every day. Her adopter should get to know her body language and vocabulary and understand that she still has some kitten behaviors to grow out of! Soon enough, this curious and smart young cat will pick up her new family’s routine and blossom into a wonderful companion. Due to her playstyle and sensitivity to petting, she would do best in a home without young children. Tala gets along quite well with the other cats in her foster home, and she may benefit from having another cat to play with in the home!

Tala will be the sweetest friend to someone who is willing to get to know her and give her the love and support she deserves!
