MEET FINLEY #2!!

Finley is an amazing pup! He is fill of friendly energy and loves people. His favorite activities are going on long walks to explore new neighborhoods, playing hide-and-seek, getting belly rubs and curling up next to you on the sofa. Finley is a mixed breed pup: American Eskimo Dog, Shetland Sheepdog, some American Staffordshire Terrier, some White Swiss Shepherd, and various other breeds -- an all around mutt.

Finley is house trained and crate trained. He is very friendly with people, including children. He is generally ok with other dogs but should be introduced to them slowly and supervised during playtime as he is a high energy pup. He does get anxious during thunderstorms and fireworks or visits to the vet (who doesn't), but Trazadone, calming music and a thunder shirt seem to work well. Finley is a great pup and a couch potato. His current family has some work changes and do not have the time to be with him the way he deserves. Meet Finley today!

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.
