My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET WINNIE!!! She has been an a bsolute angel since arriving at her foster's home 4 weeks ago.  She was saved the morning her life was scheduled to end, being on the elist. Winnie is perfectly crate trained. She is quiet as a mouse and enters and exits the crate like a lady. She is good on the leash and walks without pulling. Winnie is doing well with her recall and knows sit, down, and shake. She is doing well around her foster's large dogs, although she has not been let loose with them yet. Winnie is fun, happy, and playful. She often does zoomies over and over again and then comes in for some love and belly scratches. Winnie is great with baths and her toe nails being clipped. She is a quiet girl, but from time to time she gives a soft friendly ''Hello!'' bark or a "Hey, look at me!" Winnie is as close to perfect as you can get, however she is working on trusting strangers. This will take patience and a proper introduction. She is a loyal dog who bonds quickly with her people. She is her foster's shadow around the property and inside the home. She shows no signs of separation anxiety. Honestly, she is a lovely dog that deserves the very best of homes.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.
