My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Heckler was found running a small town in Preble County and a good samaritan took him to the animal control office after he kept repeatedly jumping his 4 foot fence and could not be contained. He loves to play with other dogs, but has quite a bit of energy so he should be in a home without children small enough to knock over, 10+ preferably. He will also need either a 6 foot fence or an electric fence to keep him contained. He is potty trained, crate trained, knows basic commands and loves a good snuggle on the couch.

More about this rescue

Preble County Pittie Committee strives to make a positive difference in the lives and welfare of "the underdog". Our goal is to rescue pit bulls who would otherwise be euthanized in shelters and place them in forever homes that make them forget they were ever almost a statistic. In a world where unfair discrimination and willful ignorance can be a death sentence for these dogs, we strive to educate the general public and show that pit bull heads are almost as big as their hearts, all they need is a chance to prove it.
