10/16/24 Foster Feedback: Berniebiscuit is a little dog with a big personality and some attitude. She is very high energy so a good long walk will help. She loves to chase a small tennis and loves soft stuffed toys!

Bernie can be a bit destructive so be careful of socks and slippers, she can be easily redirected if needed. She loves her food and treats and loves to take my other dogs treats. I feed her in a kennel.

Berniebiscuit is housebroken and likes to be let out often. We are working on walking on a leash; she can get a bit distracted so I carry training treats. She does bark a little but when asked to stop she will.

I only kennel her when she eats but no other time. She sleeps with me at night and sleeps well throughout the night.

Bernie is a sweetheart but would not be good with children as she doesn’t like to be picked up. She currently lives with 4 other small dogs and doesn’t pay much attention to them. She loves people!

Additional adoption info

There is a pre-adoption application, reference check, and home visit required prior to adopting an animal. There is an adoption donation/fee applied to all dogs. This fee ranges from $100-150. These fees help cover the veterinary care we have provided for the animals while they wait for homes. The fee also helps pay for the food and other general care we provide for the dogs. You must be 21 yrs or older to adopt a dog and can not live in a an area where there are dog breed bans. We do adopt to homes outside on the area, but there are special requirements for out of state adopters.
