We have been asked to help with this sweet, young man by one of our amazing rescue partners. Here is his information. Please apply below if you would like to be a part of his rescue story.
Hi, I am Chandler. I was seen wandering around Chandler (that’s how I got my name) but I was too scared to come to the people trying to help me. Well, they finally trapped me, and I was on my way to county after an exhausted owner search, when this nice lady knew I would not do well so there so she kept me to find me a home. She truly saved my life, as scared dogs get put down quickly these days. She said I am getting fixed this week (whatever that means since I think I am perfect.)
Here is what I am needing to ensure I continue to grow into the amazing dog I know I can be:
♦️ I am a Velcro dog so I want to be close to you (I will accompany you as you eat, sleep, use the restroom, everywhere😍) so someone who is home often and takes me with them when they leave is ideal
♦️ I am a puppy with puppy energy so I would love lots of exercise, a secure, nice yard to run and dedicated training to help me learn boundaries and good puppy behavior
♦️ I am excited to meet people and other furry friends and I am great with kids
I am only 31 pounds right now and I should probably gain a few. I am a smaller, medium sized retriever mix at about 11 months old. I think I am super handsome - don’t you agree? If you are ready to have me as your loving, family dog please apply below ⬇️

Their adoption process

1.
Interview

We will do an over the phone or in person interview with our adoption counselor.

2.
Home Check

We will need a video of your home. We need to see the front numbers of your home, a quick inside walk through and a detailed backyard video.

3.
Meet the Pet

Meet and greets are done at events or at foster homes. These include all members of the family including all pets.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Adoption contract will be completed before dog is allowed to come home.

5.
Pay Fee

Adoption fee is range by the age of the dog.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Pets will only be taken home at our adoption events so all paperwork can be given.

Additional adoption info

If for any reason we see signs of the dog or puppy not doing well in the meet and greet we will remove them from the situation. Foster to adopt is available for many adult dogs.
