Meet Maggie, an absolutely lovable Basset Hound mix who's just joined the LCDR family, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her! 🐶💖

This sweet girl is about 6 years old and is already settling into her new foster home. Although she was a bit shy at first, Maggie has quickly warmed up to her foster mom and dad.

Right now, she’s recovering with a cone for safety, but as soon as it's off, her foster family will be introducing her to kids and other dogs. They'll also see how she does with a doggy door and on a leash. 🚪🐕

As we get to know Maggie better, we’ll share more about her personality and quirks, but we already know she’s an incredibly sweet and gentle girl.

Their adoption process

1.
Interview

We will do an over the phone or in person interview with our adoption counselor.

2.
Home Check

We will need a video of your home. We need to see the front numbers of your home, a quick inside walk through and a detailed backyard video.

3.
Meet the Pet

Meet and greets are done at events or at foster homes. These include all members of the family including all pets.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Adoption contract will be completed before dog is allowed to come home.

5.
Pay Fee

Adoption fee is range by the age of the dog.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Pets will only be taken home at our adoption events so all paperwork can be given.

Additional adoption info

If for any reason we see signs of the dog or puppy not doing well in the meet and greet we will remove them from the situation. Foster to adopt is available for many adult dogs.
