Introducing Maggie, a lovable 6-year-old Basset Hound mix who’s just joined the LCDR family! 🐶💖
Maggie is the definition of a gentle soul. She’s settling into her foster home beautifully, getting along well with her four senior doggy roommates and embracing a chill “you do you” vibe. 🧘‍♀️✨ Though she’s a little too curious about small critters, Maggie’s perfect home would be rabbit-free.
She’s super quiet (no barking yet!), fully potty-trained, and learning the doggy door. Maggie is also getting the hang of her harness and loves taking gentle treats. 🍪 And after a recent bath, she’s looking and feeling fabulous!

Their adoption process

1.
Interview

We will do an over the phone or in person interview with our adoption counselor.

2.
Home Check

We will need a video of your home. We need to see the front numbers of your home, a quick inside walk through and a detailed backyard video.

3.
Meet the Pet

Meet and greets are done at events or at foster homes. These include all members of the family including all pets.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Adoption contract will be completed before dog is allowed to come home.

5.
Pay Fee

Adoption fee is range by the age of the dog.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Pets will only be taken home at our adoption events so all paperwork can be given.

Additional adoption info

If for any reason we see signs of the dog or puppy not doing well in the meet and greet we will remove them from the situation. Foster to adopt is available for many adult dogs.
