Meet Skylar: A Wonderful Lap Kitty Seeking His Forever Home!
Are you searching for a super-loving lap kitty who is as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside? Look no further, because Skylar is the perfect companion for you! This sweet boy has traveled all the way from Egypt to Virginia, and now he’s ready to start a new chapter filled with love and care.

Skylar is strikingly handsome with his pure white coat and bi-colored eyes: he appears to have strong Persian genes. He hasn't always had the best care with his rough beginning in Cairo, but with a loving home, his beautiful coat will flourish with regular brushing and good nutrition. You can already see signs of his tail developing a huge fluffiness.

Skylar is pure love. He’s a door greeter, a lap sitter, and exudes sweetness and affection. He's very doglike in his following people around and asking for pets and scratches. At just around 10 months old, he still has the periodic playfulness of a kitten but is gentle and low-key, true to his Persian breed. He’s eager to build a new relationship with a caring person or family who will allow him lots of lap time and wants an affectionate, purry partner and companion. Skylar loves to be with people as much as possible, sharing an easy chair for a movie, keeping you company while you work from home, and waiting patiently for nighttime snuggles. He enjoys gazing out the windows at birds and wildlife but dislikes being shut away from family activities.

Skylar needs a family with time to devote not only to brushing and grooming (his eyes need a periodic wiping) but also to cuddles and lots of pets. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to join a lucky family looking for companionship and love for many years to come. While he gets along with low-key cats (and traveled to the US in a crate with another cat), he would also be fine as an "only." Skylar will need time to acclimate and assimilate in his new home, but will bond deeply with those showing him the patience, commitment, and love.
