Quill’s adoption fee has been sponsored by a huge supporter of our work, Ashley Proudfoot. We made the decision to lower our adoption fees for a “Home for the Holidays” special. We wanted to see as many of our animals in their new furrever home with their family, and out of foster care. A few of our supporters came forward and sponsored as many kitties as they could! Ashley is known to be such a gentle and avid animal lover. She helps any animal she can and only wants to see them thrive. Her gentle nature brings so much comfort to animals. She truly is a shining light in the animal community.

Quill is looking for his new best friend! Quill came to the rescue at a very young age and is now 10.5 months old. His whole litter was adopted out, but he stuck behind. He wasn’t advertised for a while, while in foster but is now ready for his new forever home! Quill loves people. He will do just about anything for your attention. He loves to climb on your lap and rub all over your face, he rolls on his back waiting for belly rubs, there’s really no escaping him. Quill needs a decently calm home. He very much loves other cats and would prefer to live with another cat who wants to be his friend. He can be a little timid around bigger dogs, but with proper introduction, there should be no issue. Quill would also do okay with older children who understand and respect his space and energy. He doesn’t enjoy being chased around, grabbed, unexpectedly picked up, a lot of things younger children haven’t learned yet.


Two things Quill does not hesitate to obsess over are food, and play time! Wet food at least a few times a week is a MUST for Quill. He lives and breathes for it. He also goes absolutely bonkers over little jingly and stringy toys, but don’t even get him started on a spring…
