Meet Bud: The Happiest Chi Mix!

Bud is a delightful Chi mix who radiates joy and gratitude. His owner went to hospice. His first evening with us was spent joyfully mingling with everyone-human and furry alike-showing just how eager he is to make friends. He was just so happy. He would love a busy home with kids, cats, dogs, you name it. He loves everyone.

He loves to explore and run in the yard, and a fenced area would be his dream come true! While he's still mastering getting re-house trained, his sweet nature makes him a quick learner.

This lovable pup would thrive in just about any home, bringing happiness and warmth to those around him. If you're looking for a companion who embodies joy and appreciation for life, Bud is your guy! Come meet him and see how he lights up the room!

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
