Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Wrigley!
Wrigley came to the rescue after both of his owners tragically passed away. This big ball of love grieved for a little while, but settled in really well. Wrigley was born February of 2017, bringing him in at 7.5 years old. He’s the true definition of a golden retriever. Wherever you go, he goes. He’s truly man’s best friend. Upon taking Wrigley in, he weighed 130 pounds… he was massively overweight and as a result he developed some arthritis in his back legs. Getting up and down on hardwood floors is tricky for him, and if there isn’t a runner for him to walk on he tries to avoid the slippery areas. He does get up and down carpeted stairs well, though. Wrigley has had a full vet work up and is healthy and ready to go to his forever home. The only health issue he faces other than his arthritis is his allergies. Every 6 weeks he has to get a cytopoint injection from the vet to maintain his health. His skin tends to get itchy and he needs to be bathed well in a sensitive skin shampoo roughly every six weeks. Wrigley also needs to go to a home where they’ll understand he needs to maintain his weight, as his previous obesity has already caused him permanent physical damage.
Besides loving every single human he meets (he won’t serve well as a protection dog… lol) he gets along with all animals. He’s routinely around cats, dogs, and rabbits and has never presented an issue. Although he’s friendly with all animals, he doesn’t appreciate overwhelming puppy energy, but does deal well with kitten energy just fine!
