My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Caroline is new here at HSEC, but she is slowly showing us her personality! Coming from a rough hoarding/breeding situation, Caroline is hoping to find a new start in life. This adorable pup, with her short stature and floppy ears, may weigh 30lbs but doesn`t look like it. This small gal is dog and cat-friendly, which makes her a perfect fit for any home! Caroline does great on a leash and in the crate, but we are still working on house training. We believe that with a good routine, Caroline can learn quickly and adapt!

Our adoption fee for dogs is $200.00. This fee includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, microchip, dewormer, and consistent heartworm and flea prevention before leaving the facility.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website, hsecarolina.org, where you will find our adoption application. Please fill it out and submit it, and once your application is reviewed, someone will reach out to you to set up an appointment.

More about this rescue

The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
