My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sage is a bright and spirited 2-year-old Belgian Malinois with a heart full of loyalty. This smart girl already knows how to sit and lay down on command, showcasing her eagerness to learn and please. With her attentive nature, she thrives on positive reinforcement and is ready to take on new challenges.Personality: Sage is a loyal companion who forms strong bonds with her humans. She loves spending time with people and is always up for a game or a cuddle session. Her intelligence makes her an ideal candidate for training and activities that engage her mind and body.Ideal Home: Sage would thrive in an active household where she can receive plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. She would benefit from an owner who enjoys training and outdoor adventures. A fenced yard would be a plus, and while she can get along with other dogs, a meet-and-greet is recommended to ensure compatibility.Sage is being treated for heart worm. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent companion to join your family, Sage might be the perfect fit! Ready to meet this wonderful girl? Contact us today!
If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.
