My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Raven was found in ROUGH shape out by Lake Overholser. Severely matted, extremely malnourished, stickers all through her coat, and worst of all…obvious signs of giving birth recently.

She was immediately taken to a groomer to help her feel better. She came back HAPPY being free from that likely extreme pain. Her signs of being malnourished were rather evident. A dog of her size should easily be 55-65 pounds and she was a whopping 29 pounds.

She’s an absolute dream and sleeps most of the day. Great with dogs, cats, and kids! Will go on walks and enjoys a good car ride here and there. We’ve even learned to load into the car by ourselves! Her beige flag right now is that she loves giving hugs. She loves a good hug from her people and new people as well!

Not a big fan of the cage, but we’re working on that! Probably spent most of her life locked in a cage so I understand her trauma there. I have been leaving her out in the house 8 hours at a time with no issues whatsoever.

She would do well as a single dog or with a friend! She loves playing at is just overall a happy gal that loves hard and wants to be loved!

The foster parent for your inquired animal will reach out for a meet and greet if you are approved.

Meet the Pet

Ideally this will take place in the potential adopters home. If not, this can be done in a public setting.

Pay Fee

You will receive a PayPal invoice for the adoption fee prior to adoption.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Adoptions are scheduled after a successful meet and greet with an official 405 Animal Rescue adoption counselor via our scheduling link.
