Jack was found dodging cars on a very busy street in San Antonio, along with his three sisters. They were starving and scared, and looking for someone to take them in.  Despite the hardships of his earlier life, Jack is a happy dog who finds joy in everything. 

Jack’s fosters describe him as easy, smart and thoughtful. Quoting one, “Jack is Lassie in a mutt body. He would do great in a home with other dogs and a 9-year-old boy named Timmy.” Other qualities for him include:

Super smart – Jack learns new things quickly. He is eager to please and will do anything for a treatie.
Lover boy - Jack has never met a person or a couch that he doesn’t love. As the “big brother,” he takes great care of his sisters.
Therapist – Jack is an intuitive and thoughtful dog, who knows when you are sad or stressed. He administers his brand of medicine in sweet kisses and affection.
