My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ryobi is a male, possibly Akita/Australian Shepherd? mix and is 1 1/2 to 2 years old. He is on the smaller side, around 35-40 pounds. Ryobi will need an experienced adopter; he is very shy and will take time to learn to trust in his new home and family. He is a smart boy; he knows sit, shake, and down. He is one of the ACO's favorite dogs. Ryobi is housebroken and walks on a leash. He's very stressed in the shelter environment. Ryobi does great with other dogs and having another dog in the home may help him come out of his shell. If there are children in the home, they need to be at least 10 years old, but a quiet home with just adults may be the best situation for him.
As with all of our dogs, please bring any other dogs and/or children to meet Ryobi.
