My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moki Update – Since settling into a loving environment, our boy 60 pound boy Moki has truly blossomed. He’s a sweet, affectionate pup who adores the company of humans and other dogs alike. Moki is always eager to make new dog friends and would thrive in a home with another pup his size who’s looking for a best buddy.

While he’s incredibly gentle and playful, Moki isn’t a fan of cats, so a feline-free home would be best. He’s still learning “how to dog,” which, if you haven’t experienced it, is a beautiful journey to witness. Watching Moki discover joy, friendship, and play is a heartwarming experience. He’s ready to find his forever home—ideally with a four-legged friend to show him the ropes!

Introducing Moki, a sweet four-year-old mix of Olde English Bulldog and American Bulldog who’s all about snuggles! This lovable guy was surrendered by his previous family, though the reason is unknown. One thing we do know: he’s happiest when he is getting attention or watching 90 Day Fiance...

Just look at that face! Moki’s full of personality and adores spending time with people. He’d be a great fit for a home with older kids who can match his playful spirit. Moki loves to play, especially with his favorite toys, and after a day of fun, he’s always ready to settle in for some cozy snuggle time. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, Moki might just be the perfect addition to your family!

Paws From Afar believes that all dogs should have adventures as often as possible, they need a change of scenery, smellery, new paths to explore or oceans to swim in.

All dogs are up-to-date on all vaccines and will be altered when they arrive to you, The adoption fee is $500. If the pup is still listed, then they are still available. Keep in mind that we bring our dog up from the south and if you require a meet and greet, we are not the right rescue for you, we are happy to put you in touch with the pups fosters prior to adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a 501 (c)3 foster-based non-profit community of volunteers dedicated to finding forever homes for animals in need of adoption. Overcrowded animal shelters in the south and LA euthanize almost 70 percent of their animals due to lack of space or funds, and that is where we step in...We want to bring joy and tail wags to everyone we work with.
