**These bunnies are fully vaccinated for RHDV*
*These bunnies are featured pets so their adoption fee has been sponsored**
Breed: Jersey Woolleys
Size: About 3-4 lbs
DOB: both about a year old as of 10/24
Reason in rescue: Hermione originally came from a rescue up north that was full of bunnies and unfortunately was not able to spay any females so we took a couple to help them! Hermione was then adopted out, bonded to another bunny (Clive), and then returned five months later.
Personality: Hermione is a sweet, little girl. She is nervous at first with hands when you go to pick her up but she is figuring out that she likes being petted and loved on. Clive is a very outgoing, happy boy who enjoys being petted and running around! These bunnies will require extensive brushing a couple of times a week to make sure their hair doesn’t mat and get dirty, especially around their eyes. They are very good with their litter box.
Potential special needs: We were told by the person returning these bunnies to us that Clive had a previous episode of wobbliness/head tilt related to stress that he was treated for (more than likely an e.cunniculi flare up which most bunnies carry but can come out in times of extreme stress). We were also told that Hermione had ear and eye infections and required a thousands of dollar surgery but she is completely healthy so they either got conned by a dishonest vet or are hypochondriacs as she’s perfectly happy and healthy other than some build up of tears on her face which is common with having long hair and normal eye discharge building up at the corner is the eyes. Both bunnies will come with their medical history but we don’t foresee any future issues. Friends: Clive and Hermione are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2' for a single, 4 x 4 for a pair). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption (but can be waived if pictures or video are supplied of where the bunny will be living). Suggested adoption donation is $125 which includes spay/neuter, microchip, and their RHDV vaccine.
