Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
** If you are interested in adopting Fred, please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ **
Fred Flintstone (“Fred”) is a beautiful boy, SO handsome and friendly and loving!
Fred is a 4 year old American Bully/Boxer Mix and 65 lbs. Fred is the biggest goofball, and a huge lover. Fred was found on the streets of Houston, Texas, and brought into a high-kill shelter back in 2021. Fred made his way to Colorado, where he was adopted from the Boulder Humane Society back in May of 2021.
Unfortunately, the home he found wasn't the best... Since his adoption in 2021, Fred has been a "frequent flyer" at the Boulder Humane Society, getting picked up as a "stray" in Boulder over and over again... but his people kept coming back to pick him up. This time, they just never showed. We think this was for the best, as he shouldn't be with someone who doesn't care enough about him to keep him safe!
The Humane Society reached out to us, hoping we could get him out of the shelter and into a foster home so his life is a little easier and a little happier until he can find his forever home.
Now Fred is looking for a home that will love him like he is one of the family, and never leave him alone to fend for himself ever again.
Fred is a happy boy, and loves people. He can be around other dogs, however he would prefer living in a home as the only dog. Out in public though he can be around other dogs.
Fred would do great with an active person, as he is a young guy that loves to walk, run, swim, and play.
Fred is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and in great health.
Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial.
Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year.
If you are interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ .
**PLEASE NOTE** Farfel's Rescue makes huge efforts to place our dogs with families that are excellent matches. We do this through our application found on farfels.com or at the link provided above (never through rescue site apps such as RescueMe, Petfinder or Adoptapet as they don't provide enough information) If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out the Farfel's Rescue adoption application.. It's the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving puppy. We're sorry, but in most cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit a Farfel's adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
