My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Ames, IA

HI, my name is Rookie and I came into the rescue as an orphan along with my 7 other siblings . We were adopted by another mama named Peyton who took amazing care of us, and became our mama! My foster mama tells me I am is a sweet playful pup, and always on the go. I live in rescue with my foster mom, 2 other rescue puppies, and 2 resident dogs. So I get alot of wrestling time to practice my head lock moves. I am always excited to see my foster mom when she gets home from work. She opens that kennel door and I just jump into her arms and nuzzle her neck. She says I am a ham, and I say no I am a dog, but I would love to eat some ham if you have some? I have not gotten ham yet, but I don't think she speaks dog. She gives me treats and tells me I am a good boy so I must be doing something right. I do good at going outside, but am still working on potty training. She tells me I will get it soon as I am getting much better since getting on a schedule. So anyways, they tell me I am ready to find my forever family and become someone's buddy! Could that be you? I would love to find my people!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
