My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jerry is a beautiful indoor only cat with soft ginger colored fur, accented with
subtle redder stripes and spots.

10+ lbs, microchipped 2 yrs old, neutered, he has received 2 series of rabies shots and vaccines, and he is litterbox trained.

Jerry is comfortable around our respectful herding dog.

Jerry is a total lovebug, loves to be petted. Not a lap kitty yet, but likes to snuggle up to me on the sofa or bed while serenading me with a deep rumbling purr.

Jerry is TECH SAVVY. He enjoys watching U-Tube videos on the cellphone, with me, and he will gently swipe the screen to pull up the next vid. WARNING:
I have to monitor his time on cellphone to keep him from
doom-scrolling.

A very sweet, polite and gentle cat, he needs a home with people that are respectful of all his amazing attributes.

Jerry is very bonded to his larger and more confident brother TOM.
Those two have lived together with their beautiful mother, PEACHES, since birth.

If you adopt these 2 brothers, would you also consider taking their mother?
All 3 are best friends, interacting and grooming each other daily.

More about this shelter

A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
