My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This poor girl has been in a Texas shelter since May 29, 2024
Gender: Female
Good with dogs: needs a slow intro
Age: 6-7 months
Breed: Doberman mix
Bio: This girl was left behind at an RV park to survive on her own. She has grown double in size and stands about 4.5 feet tall currently. She’s growing up in a shelter in Texas and needs to find a home of her own. She loves to cuddle (she thinks she’s a lap dog) and hug, craves attention and very loving of whomever owns her.
She is vaccinated, microchiped and can come to NJ on the next transport and go home.

More about this rescue

Friends for Life Animal Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, volunteer-run, foster-based Rescue (no facility).

Our focus is to save the lives of dogs and puppies in high-kill shelters in the south and local owner surrenders.

Our mission is to place unwanted and in-danger animals in homes, regardless of age or breed. To educate the public and help stop animal cruelty and neglect.

We don't discriminate against potential adopters on any basis or for any reason. We approve potential adopters if they are and the animal they applied for is a good fit.

Extra Info.-
*If a dog is listed on Adopt a Pet, they are still available, and we accept applications. We approve applications on the best fit for both dog and family.
*We take our best guess on breed and size when fully grown.
* Our dogs are adopted from their foster home or straight from transport from kill shelters in the south.
*We always need foster homes so we can continue to save dogs. Don't hesitate to contact us if you are interested in fostering. Or fill out the foster application using this link - https://form.jotform.com/210257395409155
