Brock came into the shelter system in mid July, when he was found wandering around a neighborhood without a chip or ID. This calm sweet staff and volunteer favorite waited patiently for months till he was finally taken into foster in November. He has been calm with children of all ages, non-reactive to any dogs on leash, and doesn`t appear to have much prey drive (he`s not excitable seeing squirrels on walks and was easily redirected when he met a cat).
– house trained and crate trained
– easy to walk on leash and non-reactive
– doing well in foster with a female dog and has done well meeting other female dogs
– no prey drive noted
– easily entertained with toys and chews and loves water
– low to moderate energy (tires on long walks)
– calm with children (doesn`t jump)
– very treat motivated to learn
– sits for treats and gives paw
– quiet (not a barker)
