Dog's Name: Gracie (GRA0924DINFDHW)
Estimated Breed: Beagle MIX
Approximate Age: 5 years
Approximate Weight: 25 lbs
Currently Living at: Fostered
Adoption Fee: $450
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Gracie, a delightful mature lady with a heart full of love! She can be a bit timid at first, but once she warms up, she's as sweet and friendly as can be. Gracie's favorite pastime is basking in a sunny spot. She enjoys the company of both children and other dogs (needs another dog in the home), doesn't have much interest in cats, and is completely housebroken. Unlike many dogs, Gracie is not a chewer or a big barker, making her an ideal companion. She will do best with another dog companion in the home to help guide her through her timidness to become a confident gal. Her gentle nature and love for companionship will make her a wonderful addition to most any household. Unfortunately, Gracie is heartworm positive, but with treatment provided by K-9 Lifesavers, she'll be feeling fine in no time. Adopting Gracie means gaining a loyal friend who will bring warmth and love into your home. Fill out an application today and don't let this one get away!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org
