My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Willow – Ready to unleash an abundance of joy in your life? Look no
further than Willow! At just one year old, this pint-sized powerhouse is a
bundle of energy wrapped in a shiny coat of sass. Known for her “zoomies”
that could rival a racecar, Willow is on a mission to bring excitement to
every corner of your home. When not practicing her Olympic-level “ball
fetching,” she’s the queen of the leash, walking with the poise of a model
on a runway. Willow believes every outing is a grand adventure, complete
with her captivating charm and bubbly personality. Car rides? Oh, she’s a
perfect co-pilot! Willow sits like royalty, gazing out the window as if
she’s on a road trip through the French Riviera. But don’t be fooled by her
glamorous facade; her goofy antics and playful spirit will have you in fits
of laughter! If you’re seeking a companion who’s as spirited as a whirlwind
and as loving as a cuddle monster, Willow is your girl. Adopt her today and
prepare for endless adventures and snuggles! Ready to embark on this
delightful journey with Willow? Your new best friend is waiting!

More about this shelter

Volunteers needed now. Are you an animal lover, do you have a couple of hours each week to volunteer? Many opportunities available. Work with dogs, cats, bunnies, office work, fostering and more. For more details on volunteering contact Michelle Maltun at (805) 345-5741.

We care for stray and homeless animals, including cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, rabbits and other animals such as chickens, guinea pigs or iguanas. We always hope the family will come to reclaim their lost pet, but if not, we work to find a loving new family for them.

We ensure that dogs are current on their rabies vaccination and license.

At Animal Services, our goal is to ensure that all the animals in our County have a safe place to live. We work hard to find loving homes for the many dogs, cats, rabbits and other animals that come into our care. Together, with community partners and concerned citizens, we are making sure that all these animals have a "Forever Home!"
