My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you're a scruffy-dog fan-you're in for a real treat with Reggie!

Reggie is the sweetest, scruffy boy and has the best disposition on top of being super cute. He likes all people and dogs. He's still learning not to jump on people when he's excited, so a house without really small kids might be best for him. Dogs don't get much more perfect than Reggie. He enjoys playing with toys without being destructive. He has impeccable house manners with no accidents in his foster home since he arrived. He is fine being crated (but his foster family has also left him uncrated and had no issues). He whimpers a bit when his person leaves, but settles quickly. Reggie was found as a stray and it's clear that, while he is very friendly and social, he hasn't been taught the "doggy basics like how to walk nicely on a leash. He's making good progress on leash skills, but still needs some work and continued training. Because of this, a home with a fenced-in yard is a must for Reggie. He's a smart boy and quickly learned the ways of our home from the resident dog in his foster home. Having another dog in the home for Reggie to learn from would be great for him! Reggie doesn't seem to have been exposed to public places (like bars/patios/parks) in his previous life so he's a bit unsure of these situations, but with the support and encouragement from his foster family, he's gaining lots of confidence already!

Could this scruffy love bug be the one for you?
