My name is Lady!

Lady is goofy, very smart at learning tricks, extremely athletic, and loves going to the park! Her happy place is at home, snuggled up on the couch. She also loves running at Zilker and on any wooded trails we can find near here! She is an anxious girl and sometimes can be scared of the world (big busses are scary!), but she has grown so much since she joined us in January 2024. She knows sit, down, stay, come, and place, is fully potty trained, and walks well on the leash (cookies definitely help!). Unfortunately, she has demonstrated some resource guarding that is causing stress to our other dog here, so we are making the sad decision to search for a home where that can be managed well or where she can be an only pet. She does well with other dogs at the park and on walks, but gets protective around her food, toys, and attention. She is on light anti-anxiety meds as well. We are happy to answer any and all questions, and are truly looking out for what is best for her!
