Howdy do! My name is Cobalt and I am one lucky little dog! I was so lost and standing at an intersection in a neighborhood not too far from the shelter. A kind neighbor saw me as he was taking a walk one morning. It seemed that no one was looking for me or was with me, so he took me home and reported me to the shelter. I stayed at his house as a Friendly Foster. I was never claimed by my owner and now I am available for adoption. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I am excited at the idea of finding a family to love! Teach me good doggie manners, play with me, give me lots of love, and I will be your best friend for many, many years.

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
