OPEN TO FOSTER TO ADOPT

Hi my name is Bugs

I have been living with my foster family for a couple months now and my foster fur siblings who I have taken some time to get to know and they are my best friends.

I am a bit of nervous dog that can get over stimulated quickly and need reminders to decompress and that can be done by using words like “gentle “ and put in my “bed “ crate which I love and if a blanket is put over top (not the front) then I feel so much better

I just love my crate I feel so safe in there and sometimes I have to be bribed to come out to go to the bathroom

I have so much potential to be the best dog as I love to snuggle and chill with my humans but I am a lot of dog and don’t realize my own strength or size . I am a dog that needs a secure and firm human as I am a typical bully and can be quite strong willed and stubborn .

My foster mom thinks I am one of the most handsome dogs she has ever seen and my coat is so soft , and I have the biggest floppy bunny ears she likes to rub when I lay my head on her and watch tv.

Although I may need some extra training my foster mom knows I have so much potential to be such a loyal and loving doggy to a lucky person or family.

And I am so worth it !!

Q:A family with pets, or a family with no pets?

A: at this time I think Bugs will do better in a no pet home until he has the training required

Q:If pets are ok, which pets would your foster best cohabitate with?

A: he currently lives with three small dogs but he gets over stimulated very quickly and will do better with no pets until proper training and decompresses

Application, reference checks, home visits, and then a meeting or more before adoption. We DO charge an adoption fee. Our dogs are not Free!
All dogs are:
*spayed/neutered
*vaccinated DHPP+Rabies
*dewormed
*microchipped
*start flea prevention (during flea season)
*of course take care of medical issues/surgeries as needed
* Our dogs are loved in foster homes in the GTA and Surrounding area

We do not adopt out intact dogs so do not ask!

More about this rescue

We rescue mainly Bulldogs and other flat faced dogs!!!! We love the breeds and know they sometimes need extra care and love. Before you consider any of these breeds you should get familiar with the terms; cherry eye, entropian, dry eye, heat stroke, bloat, cruciate and know that sometimes these breeds can develop or have these issues. Also remember they drool, snore, pass gas and breath heavy this is not for everyone, but for us it is normal!
