Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rusty oh Rusty! What a hoot!
One year old Rusty is believed to be a Basset/hound or a Basset/lab mix. You can see that his front legs turn out like a Basset hound. This little low rider loves everybody including cats and other dogs. He just loves everyone. Rusty ended up in a high kill shelter and the staff immediately fell in love with his gregarious personality. Children are his special buddies and frisbee playing is his athletic prowess. Rusty likes to snuggle with his humans and at night will sleep on his comfy dog bed next to his human’s bed. He seems to have an abundant amount of energy to be able to hike or take a romp at a dog park. All around he is a jewel of dog and would be a great addition to an active family. Rusty is about 55 pounds which is actually a good weigh for him.
If you are interested in adopting Rusty, EMAIL STORKWOODS@COMCAST.NET and request an adoption application. This is the fasted way to get the ball rolling toward making him a member of your family.
We are a volunteer rescue group so please be kind!
