My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello Ike

Let’s welcome the “i” litter! These sweet little babies were born around July 16th, so they are approximately 12 weeks old. This litter was found abandoned outside. All were in very poor condition, but with the help of their foster, they have recovered and turned into healthy, happy kittens. They are house trained, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and will be fixed once they are old enough! Until that time, they are Foster-to-Adopt!

Ike, who is the smallest of the “i” litter, is a sweet brown tabby with a white fur-collar and socks. Ike has had his set backs and is a little smaller than his brother and sisters, but he is a fighter and is doing great now. He has grown into a handsome looking guy with a huge personality and a purr that wakes you up at night. He prefers sleeping in a queen size bed over his little cat bed, and who can blame him! He is worth every sleepless night. Ike and Ilene (also available for adoption) are the cutest little duo, and would be a great pair to be adopted together!

If you are interested in one of the little “i” babies, please visit our website at www.muskokaanimalrescue.com and complete an application form.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based, donation-only service that provides adoption services for people who are looking for a new furry addition to their family. We also provide non-judgemental, supportive help for people who are surrendering their companion animals.

We provide free advice and suggestions to people who are experiencing issues with their pets, including but not limited to behavioural issues, training advice, surrender help, and much more: spay/neuter education, advice and referrals.

We have a screening process that includes an application, telephone screen and a home visit to make sure the people are "as good as they sound on the phone". We also contact their vet and do a reference check.

We are committed to helping people find homes for their pets because we care about our community and love animals.
