My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth:9/20/2023

Description:

Julie is so beautiful and just a super sweet girl with a great personality. She comes running to greet her people, starts purring when she sees them, and loves to play and cuddle.  She really enjoys being petted everywhere – she just loves human contact – she will even take her naps near a person so she’s never too far away. Especially when it comes to food. She is so caring  - her little brother was so scared when he arrived at the rescue, and she even brought him one of her fish toys when he was in a kennel hiding. She deserves to find her wonderful forever family, and any family will be lucky to have this special girl in their lives!

Words to Describe Me: Social, outgoing, loving, patient, classy, beautiful, sweet, playful

Favorite Place to Sleep: pet beds, in front of a window so she can sunbathe

Favorite Toy: toy wand, little fish, and furry mice – but really all kinds. She is a little dog-like with her toys!

Perfect Day: Her perfect day is full naps and snacks.

Kitty's Likes: loves to be brushed, being a lap cat, playing, eating

Kitty's Dislikes: being held like a baby and being held for too long

Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Say hello to her - this big girl is such a lover she starts purring as soon as she sees her person.

Favorite Treat: Temptations and  Churus.

Additional adoption info

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
