My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hodor was found as a stray. He acts like a dane/lab mix and is friendly. He is working on a little food aggression but if his food is not involved he loves attention and to play. A few manners, like jumping up need perfected. But he is young and ready to learn, he enjoys sniffing on walks and sitting on feet.**Please fill out an application found on our website under "adopt a pet" and send it in to start adoption process.**

All Dog Adoption Fee's are $175 Cats are $100

More about this shelter

Van Wert is a small rural community. The Van Wert County Humane Society has seen hard times in the past but since the Humane Society is under a new board, things have changed for the better and we work hard to care for and adopt the animals at the shelter. We have a small base of volunteers that will come and spend time with the animals at the shelter. We take donations of any sort, and the Humane Society is 501c3.
