Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sadie's soulful eyes sometimes show her sadness from losing the only family she knew for 10-years because her owner went to assisted living. Thanks to our wonderful volunteer who are fostering Sadie, she is starting to enjoy her favorite things like car rides, walks, snacks and finding the stuffing in a toy! This loyal girl is on the lookout for a new forever home where she can once again offer her love and companionship. Sadie loves to talk when she's excited, especially when it's time for food or play! She would make an great companion for someone looking for an easy going girl that is friendly with kids and other calm dogs. Besides having arthritis, Sadie got a great health report from the veterinarian. If Sadie may be your perfect match, complete an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.orgTo meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
