It is the easiest way to start the communication and adoption process.

Introducing Emmy! This perfectly bovine spotted little lady came to us from our friends at Forever Paws Shelter after being found as a stray. Huge thank you to longtime PittieLove fosters and supporters Tom and Michelle for opening their home to this bouncy girl and giving her a safe space to stretch her legs. Emmy is a practically perfectly well-rounded all around awesome young girl. Some of her favorite pastimes include zooming around the backyard with her four-legged foster brothers and long leash walks. She’s also a silly little noodle- she likes to sploot on top of shrubs or plantings in the yard instead of laying in the grass like her brothers   Emmy loves car rides, she politely sits in the backseat admiring the scenery as it passes. If you are lucky enough to add Emmy to your family, be prepared for endless snuggles! When she isn’t bopping around the yard or otherwise being the goofy young girl she is, she can be found cuddled up snugly with her foster dad on the couch. Emmy’s dream family is one who will include her in all their adventures, from walks and car rides to snuggles and family game nights. If you and your family are looking to add the sweetest young house hippo to your crew, please complete an application!

More about this rescue

PittieLove Rescue Inc. is an all-volunteer, foster-home-based rescue dedicated to the care, understanding, and adoption of the American Pit Bull Terrier. As one of the most abused and misunderstood “breeds” of all time, PittieLove’s number one goal is for our rescued dogs to never suffer from neglect or abuse again, carefully placing them into loving homes where they will be ambassadors for the breed.
Working closely with MA shelters, MA animal control facilities and fellow rescue organizations, we help as many dogs in need as we have foster homes for. Before the dogs come into our rescue, they undergo a thorough temperament evaluation. If they pass, they are then placed into loving foster homes where they are provided with quality veterinary care, initial training and lots of socialization (with both people and animals of all ages). Our dogs are up to date on their vaccinations (age appropriate), spayed/neutered and micro-chipped prior to adoption.
