Meet Scooby! He's a fun, young shepherd mix. He's always up for fun, wants to be involved in whatever you're doing. Scooby came to us underweight with bald spots, but is looking good now! He likes to play fetch and romp with other dogs, too! This happy guy is eager-to-please and ready to train into the dog of your dreams! DNA results are in! German Shepherd, Boxer and Min-Pin!
Scooby has been selected to participate in Del Norte Humane Society's Prison Paws Partnership (PPP)! PPP is a 6-8 week program of training for the selected dogs and their inmate handlers at Pelican Bay State Prison. The dog participants are available for adoption through the Humane Society at the completion of the program. If you are interested in Scooby, please contact Del Norte Humane Society! We are a small County facility (Dog Pound) located in Crescent City, CA. Our dedicated staff & volunteers strive to find forever homes for the homeless dogs under our care.
Transport can sometimes be arranged from Northern CA to Washington.
