My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zasu is a sweet little lady ready for a calm and loving home. She came into my clinic to be euthanized because her person was moving and couldn’t take her. Since she’s perfectly healthy besides a bit of arthritis, I took her in! As much as I would love to keep her, she would prefer a quiet home where she is the only kitty.

Miss Zasu is a chatty girl, she can hold a whole conversation with her chirps and meows. If you scratch her chin and behind her ears she’ll love you forever, she likes to be pet everywhere though! She’s perfectly content to sit beside you on the couch and watch tv for hours, or nap under the bed while you clean the house. When she falls into a deep sleep she snores (don’t tell her I told you though). She loves to be cozy, so don’t be surprised when she’s napping on the laundry pile.

This kiddo loves all humans, but is not a big fan of other dogs and cats. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body - but she sounds pretty mean when other animals get too close. She is indoor only and enjoyed supervised outdoor time in her previous home. She’s really great about using the litter box. We’re working on weight loss currently as she was over fed in her previous home. She’s 13.4 pounds currently and would probably be ideal around 9-10 pounds. Helping her loose weight will help her old joints feel much better.

Did I mention this fluff ball loves to be brushed? She will happily roll around on the floor while you groom her silky soft fur. I hope you can give this sweet girl the loving home she deserves! Indoor only - rehoming fee is $75

Adoptable cats and kittens are shown on our website with detailed profiles and pictures. More about this rescue

Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption.

Why Foster Care? Does your new kitty like children? Does she play with dogs or find other felines too uncomfortable to be around? Does he have consistent litter-box manners? Does he want to cuddle or perhaps his comfort zone is to be more independent. Many life-factors influence cat behavior and while genetics plays a role, we know that human touch, kindness, nurturing and consistency of care are non-negotiable requirements. We provide all of this.
