My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pooh!

This sweet ginger boy is about 10 months old and waiting for his chance to find a family.

Pooh was one of MANY cats living in a hoarding house. Courtney has been trapping cats at this house, getting them fixed, and networking with those in rescue to find the friendly ones home. There have been friendly cats, feral cats, litters of kittens, and more.

Pooh is definitely one of the ones who can live a better life. He's a little shy, but making so much progress. Pooh loves churus and you can tell he really wants to be loved. He is learning that people coming towards him is a good thing, not a scary thing.

Pooh needs an adopter/family who will continue to work with him as he learns to be loved and spoiled. He isn't feral or mean, just has never before been shown the love all cats deserve.

More about this rescue

Five Friends Animal Rescue, Inc. is a foster-based animal welfare organization of volunteers dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters, strays, and owner surrenders. We provide these animals with care and temporary homes until we can place them into their permanent homes. We also serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership, including resources for spay/neuter and positive behavior training. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and are working towards the day when no companion animal is euthanized for lack of a home.
