My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Griffith is a 6 year old, male dachshund who is looking for someone to snuggle with all day long. He is very loving and loyal and just wants to be with his person all day.
He has a traumatic past from being a breeding dog/stud at a puppy mill where he was likely abused. His current owners rescued him from this situation 4 years ago, and he has come a long way. He still does have many quirks and struggles with separation anxiety, so it’s important that his new owner has lots of love and patience.
He would do best in a home with someone retired or who works from home. He needs a child-free home. He currently lives with another doxie, and would likely be fine either with another dog or as the only dog.
His current owners are devastated to part with him, but with a one year old, both Griffith and the baby do not feel safe together.
If you need a snuggle buddy and loyal companion and think you’d be a good fit, please apply! Thank you!
