Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Maya is looking for a forever home where she can truly shine. While she may be a bit timid at first, she is a gentle soul who craves connection. With a little patience and understanding, you'll discover her playful, affectionate side. Maya is around 2 years old and weighs 92 Lbs. She is a big girl but that just means she has more love to give.
This sweet girl loves tennis balls and will happily chase them around the yard. She is also well-trained, knowing commands like sit, down, shake, spin, stay, and wait. Give her a bit of extra time to warm up to new people. Once she knows and trusts you, she will be your best friend.
Maya would thrive in a quieter, more predictable home where she can feel safe and secure. A patient adopter who is willing to build trust and provide her with guidance will be the perfect match for her. Any children in the home should be 13 years old or older.
If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who will fill your life with joy, Maya is the perfect dog for you.
If you are interested in Maya and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
