Hi, I'm Poppy, and I'm an adorable ball of fur with a lively personality. I'm always brimming with puppy energy, just like the energizer bunny. I've mastered a few commands, but "sit" is my absolute favorite because I know I'll get a tasty treat. Playing with other dogs brings me so much joy, although sometimes I find that they just can't keep up with my boundless enthusiasm. I used to attend a dog daycare and excelled there, thanks to my love for people, giving plenty of kisses, and snuggling up with anyone who's willing. I'm quite clever too; I'm fully housebroken, comfortable in a crate, and I haven't even reached my first birthday yet. Speaking of which, my birthday is on the 18th of October, and I'll officially turn 1 year old. I'm currently dealing with a challenging medical condition, but I'm scheduled to see the vet this month. I've heard he's a pretty cool dude, especially since he has a French bulldog of his own. I'm hopeful that we'll be able to figure everything out so that I can eventually find my forever family.

Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
