Well hello there, peasants! Of course, you already know who I am, because I am the main character of the story… What? Excuse me? You don’t know me? Pfft. Fine. Whatever. My name is Striker, now you best not forget it!
I am the entire reason that my whole family was saved, thank you very much. Apparently, I had some gross larva thing living in my neck, and my foster parents decided to shift their entire life around to accommodate ME (and my family, I guess…). It’s not like I’m grateful or anything, to be out of the blazing heat, and to be treated like the pampered princess I am. Because I DESERVE THAT.
My mom says I have BIG ATTITUDE, and she isn’t wrong. I really am the main character, and I won’t let you forget that for a second! Technically, my parents call me the antagonist of the story, because I absolutely love causing mischief.
I am the most curious, confident, brave little girl you’ll ever meet! I will climb the greatest heights, ride on all the shoulders, brave the loudest vacuums, and take on my brothers who are twice my size (and win!) I may be little, but I am MIGHTY.
I demand to be taken home with my Mama, Acetylene. I ADORE my Mama. I worship the ground she walks on. I love my siblings, too, so I guess you can take two of us home as an alternative. Either way, I refuse to be an only child, got it?

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.

Animal House of South East Michigan is a 501 (c)3 no-kill animal rescue organization. We work primarily with cats and dogs through adoption, owner assistance and community education. We are a non-profit rescue that is run entirely by volunteers. We work in partnership with our local PetSmart, located on Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak, MI.
