Meet Monty, a stunning cat who traveled all the way from Egypt to Virginia in search of his forever home. This playful boy, thought to have strong Ragdoll genes, has a special love for feather toys, especially when someone joins in the fun. Monty adores watching birds through windows, making him the ideal companion for someone who works from home or enjoys cozy Netflix evenings.
Once he settles in, Monty is affectionate, loves being picked up, and purrs happily when he's near his people. He enjoys lounging close by and thrives on attention and plenty of pets. Because of his recent arrival, Monty needs a patient adopter who will give him the time and space to bond, acclimate, and feel safe in his new environment. He has lived with other cats but would do wonderfully in a home where he's the only feline.
With a gorgeous thick coat that’s still recovering from a few trims and mat removals before his travels, Monty is getting used to regular brushing and grooming sessions. As a Ragdoll, he’ll need someone familiar with the grooming needs of his breed. His striking blue eyes require daily care as well.
Estimated to be 2.5 years old, Monty is healthy, fully vetted, microchipped, and ready to find his perfect match. He has excellent litter box habits and is eager to become a cherished member of a loving home. Fostered in Burke, Va, please reach out if you have room in your home and heart for this sweetheart.
