My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy, we are a gray Shih Tzu and pretty white Scruffy Terrier family with Dad, Mom, and 4 little puppies. We were seen being dumped in a parking lot in Cleveland Texas (north of Houston) and thankfully some good samaritans helped catch us all plus one stowaway (a pretty black Pug pup). We were offered to 4 Little Paws Rescue, who happily brought us to San Antonio so we could live in a foster home while getting ready for adoption. That means vaccinations and microchips for everyone, and spay /neuter for mom, dad, and the 9-month-old stowaway now named Misty.

My name is Cruiser, I’m a boy, and I’m one of the puppies. 2-months-old and adorable, I’m 5.4 lbs, and I look mostly like my mom. All Of us are happy and playful, love romping and wrestling, and chasing doggy toys, especially our favorite toy which was a “Nylabone Power Chew Cheese Bone” but it was taken away because we only had one and we all wanted it, LOL! We are affectionate and snuggly, and enjoy being held, but only until we can get back to playtime! We are healthy and happy and need just one more puppy shot before we can go, so East Coast families, get your applications in!

* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
