My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Juniper is a 6 month old pitbull puppy who despite her situation is the most loving, sweetest, velcro dog ever. Juniper spent her first 6 months in a wire kennel that was too small for her and was only allowed outside into a gravel dog run. She was not allowed inside the house and was rarely fed. When her foster picked her up she was malnourished and trying to eat leaves and rocks from outside. Because of this she does take eating as a competition and scarfs down her food as fast as possible. This behavior should subside as she realizes she will not go hungry again. Juniper’s potty training and basic training is still a work in progress but she is highly food motivated and super smart. She is so full of love and gets very excited to see her humans so older children or dog savvy younger children are recommended for Juniper. She lives with a cat and another large dog with no problems and is very submissive. Juniper is having a difficult time with crate training but given her background, that is understandable. Her foster says she is an amazing dog and is going to be an incredible addition to her new family. She is the biggest snuggler and is so soft! With some training, patience, and understanding she will be an amazing best friend!

*Juniper is part of our house to home program and she is not under the ownership of Critters Pet Rescue.
