Hello there, I'm Junior! My days are filled with adventures around the shelter, exploring every nook and cranny. When I'm not on a mission, I love to play. Toys, strings, laser pointers, you name it! I can be a bit shy when we first meet, but give me a little time and I'll show you my sweet side. I'm just a young cat, with a whole life of love to give. I may be small, but my heart is huge. Adopting me means gaining a loyal friend who will always be there to cheer you up with my playful antics and sweet purrs. I promise, we'll make the purr-fect team!

More about this shelter
The Stone County SPCA was organized in 2009 and opened a shelter in 2012 in Wiggins, MS. We have always been a no kill shelter. Our biggest challenge is the high demand to place dogs and cats in our shelter. Currently, we take in approximately 1200 animals annually. We do not euthanize animals for lack of space. We have a live release rate of 95%. We do this by keeping adoption fees low and transporting a large percentage of our animals (65% of our dogs and puppies).
