My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Purrisa has found her voice, and she likes the sound of it, a lot! She has become quite the talker, telling you what she is thinking. And she is appropriately named PURRisa. She can purr and purr and purr some more when you pet the right spot. Purrisa is charming and somewhat mellow. She's very sociable and likes to hang out with people, loves cheek rubs and cuddles. Then she wants you to play with her "favorite" toy of the day for a bit. Today it's wand toys, yesterday it was ping pong balls. Sitting down to watch TV? Expect a lap warmer. Purrisa often settles in for a good snooze in the crook of your arm. She is confident enough that she will do well in any home who will continue to give her lots of attention and love. She is a good litter box and scratching post user too.

Adoptable animals are located at our Taft Campus at 2200 N Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or for more info call 970-484-8516.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
